Our Motorhome
Bailey Autograph 79-4F (2020 Model)
Our Bailey Autograph 79-4F ticked a lot of the boxes for what we wanted in a Motorhome, it is very spacious inside, with a good size lounge area, a fixed bed and the Toilet/Sink and Shower stretching all the way along the back of the Motorhome giving a lot of space especially when coming out of the shower to dry yourself and get dressed in a private area.
One big plus for us following hiring some Motorhome’s and finding the layouts was not for us, was the ability to get from Lounge to Bathroom without having to do the “Van Shuffle” to get past someone, the middle section of the Motorhome is a spacious area allowing people to pass each other with ease.
The kitchen area in the middle of the van where there is a big floor space makes it very comfortable for 2 people to be around this area when cooking or washing the pots.

Outside of Motorhome
On the Habitation door side of the Motorhome you have:-
- By the passenger door you have the Diesel filling point and the AD Blue filling point.
- To the left of the habitation door you have a storage locker and an outside TV Ariel point and a 240v Electric point.
- To the right of the habitation door you have the External Gas BBQ point.
- Then another storage locker on the other side of the wheel.
- We also have a wind out canopy which is great for either shade on a sunny day or even to keep all underneath dry if it is raining, making it a real usable outside space.
At the rear of the Motorhome you have a reversing Camera located just under the word “BAILEY” which is crucial when you are reversing into parking spaces or onto your pitch on a campsite.
There are also two mounts for adding a cycle rack to the back of the Motorhome.
On the Drivers side of the Motorhome you have:-
- The Electric Hook up point
- Water filling point
- Gas Locker Storage
- Locker for the Cassette toilet.
Inside - Lounge
The lounge area is very spacious. With driver and passenger seat swivelled round, the big bench seat and the L shaped seating, there is space for 7 Adults to sit comfortably.
The L shaped lounge can be changed to a half dinette with a table fitted. Using the Driver seat and the Dinette bench, two people can comfortably eat at the table.
Inside - Kitchen
The kitchen is located in the middle of the Motorhome and has a big floor space to enable ease of movement through the van.
There is a good sized oven with seperate grill and the hob has 3 gas burners and an electric hot plate. There is also a microwave located above the sink with 2 big cupboards located alongside. Four large drawers finish this side of the kitchen off and gives plenty of storage for the kitchen area.
Opposite the cooker we have the dometic fridge/freezer which can be run on the electric hook up or on the gas.
Inside - Bedroom
The Bed is a Double size French Style bed (which means it has the one side shaped in) and we have a very comfortable memory foam thick mattress.
The bed will lift up and there is a big storage area underneath. There is also outside access through a locker door to the under bed storage.
Above the bed are three large storage cupboards for your clothes.
To finish the bedroom off there is a large floor to ceiling wardrobe with hanging garment space as well as two shelves for other storage.
There is a dressing table area with 240v electric plug points and a large mirror, an ideal area to enable you to get ready for the day ahead.
A high level cupboard space and below table area cupboards are handy for storing all the equipment (hair dryer/straightening tongues etc) and accessories.
Inside - Bathroom
The bathroom situated at the rear of the Motorhome spans the width of the Motorhome.
Plenty of Cupboard space for all your toiletries, a handy shelf under the large mirror and hooks for your towels ensures that the bathroom is well organised.
There is thetford cassette toilet, a wash basin and a really good size seperate shower unit.
As the bathroom spans the whole width there is also plenty of floor space for when you get out of the shower to dry yourself down.
